A new beginning
You and your family have lived in the marshland for generations, but your hometown is getting crowded. You’ve heard of a group of villages to the west, in a landscape of azure lakes, where the constantly flowing water has created a maze of watery caves, sinkholes, underground streams, and porous bedrock. There’s opportunity to start a new life there, catching fish, living in a stilt house on the lake, and exploring the deep sinkholes for rare ingredients and rusty treasures. You’ve packed up your favorite fishing pole and strapped the baby to your back, ready for a fresh start.

Overview:
Above and Below: Haunted is the standalone sequel to Above And Below, set in the Arzium Storybook Series, which includes: Near and Far and Now or Never.
Similar to Above And Below, Above And Below: Haunted is a mashup of town-building and storytelling. You’ll compete to build the best village above and below ground. Send villagers to perform jobs like exploring the cave, harvesting resources, and constructing houses. In Above And Below: Haunted, your village will attract the attention of ghosts. You can spend a turn to banish the ghosts from your building and send one to haunt another player.Â
On your turn, you may also journey below the surface into the great cavern for epic stories and adventures. For an adventure, one of your friends reads to you from the story book. Every story has a choice and most adventures will involve ghosts. You get to decide what to do, but the results are always fun.
The storybook is packed with creative encounters of amazing adventure, randomly chosen each time you visit the cavern.
